We decided to go through two rounds of texture tests, one internal and one external. For the external test, we wanted to present our work in the production pass and get feedback from both the instructors and the other teams. We split up the primary textures amongst the members in order to get as many individual perspectives as possible on how to achieve the painterly style we've been aiming for. I modeled the cardboard box assembly, so I chose that texture for myself and went for a washed-out palette with a few layers of color variation.

After receiving feedback from instructors and other teams in the production pass, I felt good about the direction of my textures. I did, however, take feedback to create higher contrast color variation and make my brush strokes more visible.
